Risk disclosure

Perpetual derivatives and onchain systems can cause rapid and irreversible loss. This engineering draft is not a substitute for venue disclosures or professional advice.

You can lose all collateral and, depending on venue rules and account structure, may face additional obligations. Production use requires qualified legal and risk review.

Leverage and liquidation

Leverage magnifies gains and losses. Mark prices, maintenance margin, cross or isolated mode, other positions and venue rules can trigger liquidation. A displayed estimate is not a guarantee of the liquidation price or available exit.

Funding, fees and basis

Perpetuals use funding and may diverge from spot or an index. Funding rates, trading fees, builder fees, slippage and market impact can change and can exceed an expected strategy edge.

Liquidity and order behavior

Visible depth is not total liquidity or queue priority. Limit and protective orders can rest unfilled after gaps. Partial fills can leave residual exposure, and sibling cancellation is not final until exact venue evidence confirms it.

Provider and software outages

Market APIs, websockets, RPCs, sequencers, identity services, wallets and signers can be unavailable or inconsistent. Stale or partial state may prevent entry, exit, cancellation or reconciliation. An acknowledgement is not finality.

Onchain and bridge risk

Smart contracts, sequencers, validators, oracles and bridges can fail, pause, upgrade or be exploited. Transactions may be public and irreversible. Robinhood Chain's official terms state that its public RPC is not intended for production-grade, high-throughput or latency-sensitive use; managed redundant providers remain an independent NYTSHIFT production gate.

Testnet and model risk

Testnet evidence may not reproduce mainnet behavior. AI analysis can be wrong, incomplete or adversarially influenced. AEGIS is a deterministic policy boundary, not a guarantee against loss.
